We collect only the information needed to issue and service insurance policies, handle claims, file reports as required by law and ensure proper billing.  Following are the types of information we collect and how it is gathered.

• Information from you on applications for our insurance, or on other forms requesting changes to existing policies, such as your name, address and social security number
• Information from you on transactions with us, such as your payment and claims history
• Information from outside companies such as your claim history, driving record or credit report

We use this information to underwrite and service your insurance policy and process claims.  As permitted or required by law, information arising from the underwriting and claims process may be disclosed to your insurance agent or other non-affiliated companies, such as independent claims adjustors or insurance companies.

We have physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in place to maintain the privacy of your personal information.  Access to this information is restricted to those employees, agents or companies who have a legitimate business need in order to provide our products or services to you.
